This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward looking HR professional to join a successful electronics manufacturing company in Fife. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR, with strong generalist background, ideally gained in a stand-alone role. Experience of providing HR services gained within manufacturing or FMCG sector would be advantageous.
You will be knowledgeable in employment law and have experience of developing and successfully implementing HR policies and procedures and have proven experience of managing change and development programmes. The successful candidate will also have experience of recruitment and selection, absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance management, employee life cycle, appraisal, onboarding, compensation and benefits and delivery of training and associated record keeping and compliance. Previous experience of processing a monthly payroll is desirable.
You will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills and be able to influence and guide the senior management team on best practice, people management issues and risk mitigation.
Skills required include:
- The ability to work strategically as well as operationally, translating strategy into actionable programmes, operations or activities.
- Results orientated, resilient and highly motivated
- Proficient in use of MS packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong customer outlook
Education and Professional Qualification
CIPD qualified or equivalent
