High Time to close the gender gap in STEM

It is generally accepted that women continue to be underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. What are we doing about it in our industry? Are companies placing enough emphasis on putting quality, talent and diversity at the top of their agenda? Claire Saunders (WNIE), Michelle Ogihara (Seika Machinery) and Sherry Stepp (Kyzen) discuss the progress that is being made, some of the hurdles that may still need to be overcome. They highlight some of the initiatives that exist in the electronics manufacturing industry for women already working within the industry and what is being done to encourage more women to work in the industry.
